A rare piece of very early Pioneer history an incredible find in a very rural part of the foot hills of Virginia. A wonderful log pack house very finely done with hewn logs with faces up tp 16 "and great example of dove-tail notched logs, so early that the chinking strips are used between the logs to hold the original mud and lime chinking with whittled wooden pegs to hold the chinking strips in place as nails were to rare and expensive. The building measures 21 x 21 feet outside and the logs stack 19 feet high and the logs are 100%. A sister building of like construction methods has been taken down and stored and is available. More pictures are available upon request.
